Holbrook Public Library Long Range Plan Survey

The Holbrook Public Library will be conducting a brief survey in order to better improve the services it offers. As part of the long range plan survey, individuals are asked to answer questions that will help form the direction the library will go in offering services, programming, and materials to its visitors. By having a long range plan the Holbrook Public Library will be able to apply for grants from the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.

Summer Reading 2016 is here!


Our theme this year is WELLNESS, FITNESS, AND SPORTS

Come by the library to pick up your swag bag! It will contain a reading log to get you started, a calendar full of the events we’ll be having, and some goodies.

Read for 2 hours each week, record the titles in your reading log, and bring your log to the library to receive a PRIZE and a RAFFLE TICKET to enter the weekly drawing.

  • Preschoolers through rising 6th graders choose a prize from The Treasure Chest
  • Rising 7th graders through high school seniors receive Prizes for Teens. NEW this summer, teens have the opportunity to win a weekly raffle basket

Book Club for Kids

Kids book club met this week and created some beautiful art while their siblings created this cool train track in the Children’s area. Don’t miss the fun next time when we discuss Friend or Fiend? by Judy Bloom with the 3rd & 4th Grade Book Club and No More Dead Dogs by Gordon Korman with the 4th & 5th Grade Book Club. There will be snacks and another amazing art project. Book club meets Tuesday, May 24th at 3:30 for the younger kids and Thursday, May 26th at 3;30 for the older kids. We hope to see you there.
