An eBook is an electronic version of a book you can download through our website and read on devices such as a Kindle, Nook, iPad, Smartphone, or a computer. An eAudio is an audiobook you can download through our website to your Smartphone or computer, from which you can transfer the file to a portable device like an iPod or MP3 player.

Downloadable eBooks are provided through the Old Colony Library Network’s Overdrive Digital Library Collection. Browse, checkout, and download digital eAudiobooks anytime of day from anywhere in the world. Your Holbrook Public Library or other Old Colony Library Network member library card and PIN are needed to complete the checkout process. The default PIN is OCLN.
You may also need to download and install the appropriate free software to use the service:
- To download Adobe eBooks on your computer, you need Adobe® Digital Editions.
- To download Adobe eBooks on your Android or iOS4 device (iPhone®/iPodtouch®/iPad®) you need OverDrive Media Console v2.
- To download Kindle books you need a Kindle device or Kindle app available from Amazon.
