Junior Volunteer Program

The Junior Volunteer Program at the Holbrook Public Library is a community service opportunity for jr high/high school students grades 7th-12th. The program provides valuable educational experience and supports the operation of the Youth Services Department at the Holbrook Public Library. This program gives participants the opportunity to:

  • Learn about the services, organization, and operation of public libraries
  • Develop general office and library skills
  • Contribute to the community

The Junior Volunteer Program runs throughout the school year and follows the Holbrook Public School’s calendar for vacations, holidays, and snow days. We take applications throughout the school year.

Additionally, during the summer, Junior Volunteers may assist with our summer reading program. This is a great opportunity for students to earn community service credits.

For more information click here for an application or or visit the Youth Service Desk.
